There are many ways to get involved with Classrooms Without Borders, whether you’re 5 or 95!
Scholarship program
How would you like to send someone to college? Through us, you can! In the Fall of 2009, we launched a college scholarship program to fund promising young adults who would not otherwise be able to attend college. Just $2,000 will provide funding for a student to attend college full-time for two years. Alan Donald was our first sponsor, and the school is currently conducting the selection process. If you’d like to send a young Khmer person to college, too, please contact us!
Change for Change Kids Campaign
Are you a kid? Do you have kids? Do you work with kids? Then you may be interested in our “Change for Change” kids campaign. All it takes is a jar and a flier, which you can download on our site, and you’re off! In this campaign, kids can donate or get others to donate pocket change that might otherwise be lost in between couch cushions. All of these pennies, nickels, and dimes go directly to provide schooling for kids in developing nations. If you’d like to participate, just get yourself a jar, download some of our fliers (people will want to know who they’re donating to!), take the donated change to the bank, and send us any kind of check made out to “Classrooms Without Borders.” But please - don’t send us all of those pennies!
